Solution: PCM and Marketing with C/4HANA

Geographic Location: Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico

This client is a large department store, with a presence throughout Mexico and also has an important participation in retail of clothing and general merchandise. It is oriented to middle and lower segments with focus on low prices.

Initial situation:

The client comes to Pyxis through a recommendation from SAP in Monterrey. In July 2017 we had a first meeting to understand their needs. The client was already using SAP but their website had many limitations. They were having problems with product management and customer service.

 

The solution:

We started evaluating the entire C/4HANA suite to provide a global solution. We helped them put together a complete project that included PCM (Product Content Management) and Marketing.

PCM is presented as an integral solution for product information management that allows to consolidate and centrally manage information and attributes in all channels, favoring a powerful multichannel commerce management. The communication of C/4HANA with SAP ERP was done through Datahub and it was a great challenge to connect with SAP Retail. It was a modality that we had not experienced before and it was successfully done.

On the other hand, we already have the marketing platform up and running, with everything related to e-mail, SMS and integration with mobile applications.
